substrate moist.

*Do not use the fertiliser here*

How will I know the germination period is over?

For every plant it's different.

Once the plants have grown a second layer of leaves above the

For questions or problems regarding germination

BASIL

  • Put 4 seeds in 1 substrate block

  • Put the seeds on the surface of the substrate, do not cover the seeds, as basil is a light germinator.

LEMON BALM

  • Can be a little difficult to germinate with a success rate of only 50 %

  • For best results put the seeds on a moist surface (ex. paper towel) and keep it moist for one day before seeding them out.

  • Put 4 seeds in 1 substrate block

  • Put the seeds on the surface of the substrate, do not cover the seeds, as lemon balm is a light germinator.

OREGANO

  • Put 1 seed in 1 substrate block

  • Put the seed on the surface of the substrate, do not cover the seed, as oregano is a light germinator.

  • Oregano needs about 2 – 3 weeks to germinate, so don’t give up if you can’t see a result after a few days.

ARUGULA

  • Put 1 seed in 1 substrate block

  • Dig a 0.5 – 1 cm deep hole into the substrate, put the seed in and cover it up loosely with the dug out material.

LEAF LETTUCE

  • Put 1 seed in 1 substrate block

  • Put the seed on the surface of the substrate, do not cover the seed, as leaf lettuce is a light germinator.

SPINACH

  • Put 1 seed in 1 substrate block

  • Dig a 1 – 2 cm deep hole into the substrate, put the seed in and cover it up by gently pressing the dug out material back into the hole.
